Leslee Keegan has a passion for wellness and has been sharing her gift of better health with people of all ages, shapes, and fitness levels across Northeast Ohio for the past 41 years. This passion led her to create I’MPOWER Fitness Center in Ravenna, OH where she offers group fitness classes, circuit training, MyZone Heart Rate training and more! Leslee’s commitment to the team that she leads and clients that she serves has led I’MPOWER Fitness Center to be awarded Best of the Best Fitness Facility, Best Place to Work, Most Innovative Workplace, Best Boss, and Person of the Year by the Akron Beacon Journal for six years in a row!

In addition to her business, Leslee also utilizes her numerous national certifications in different exercise modalities to give back to the community. In 2008, she founded Fit Chicks, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting women and children to promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and fitness. The Fit Chicks have donated more than 1,000 hours of time and over $75,000 to various government agencies and non-profit organizations throughout Portage County (OH). Fit Chicks created a dedicated program to serve the youth in 2009 with the introduction of the Fit Kids Fitness and Running Club. This program allows grade school children to experience the fun and community of fitness. At the end of the 6-week program, each child participates in a 1-mile fun run and receives a free pair of running shoes!

In her free time, Leslee continues to find ways to support her community. She serves as a board member for the Skeels-Mathew Advisory Board, is a council member for the Ravenna School District Business Advisory Council, is a member of the Raven Athletes of Honor Committee (serving as the co-chair for the Fun Walk/Run event) and is the Eucharistic Minister for the Immaculate Conception Church.

Throughout her career, Leslee has been blessed with love, inspiration, and support from her late husband, Coach John B. Keegan, their 7 wonderful children, and their 13 amazing grandchildren. Leslee learned the joy of helping others from her late mother, Daryle J Fullum, Director of Mobile Meals and the Center of Hope, and her late father, Ernie Fullum, Department Head of Radiology at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
